Achieve & Maintain the Life You Desire

Here we are at the conclusion of Manifesting the Life You Desire. I am excited to have completed my first official multi-part series as a blogger! I truly hope you have found this series useful and have started to use some of these ideas and suggestions in your life.

Second, I have a BIG announcement this is my last post on this blog!

I am moving up town and taking you folks with me!

As of April 1st 2010 I will be posting from my new home DallasCyr.com (don't go there just yet)

I hope you will continue to follow me I promise to take the value, the messages and content to a whole another level!

BUT before then, we have some unfinished business here...

Welcome to part Six in the Six part series, Manifesting the Life You Desire. In this post we will discuss "Achieve & Maintain". No doubt there will be challenges in any endeavor. When we really step out to live the life we desire and implement the things we have discussed so far, you will still encounter obstacles but you will be better prepared for them. You will also need to stay open to detours or divine guidance along the way.

As a reminder each of the posts in this series offers great value on it's own but...

To get caught up in this series check out past posts:
Part 1 Vision
Part 2 Intention & Attention
Part 3 Belief & Feeling

This post is about Achieving your goal & Maintaining it!

I have found there are two skills in true success, the achieving but then the continued practice of healthy habits to maintain whatever level of success you have realized.

An example from my own experience, I had a big picture goal; it took me about three and half years to get there but once achieved I felt empty. I had put so much emphasis on reaching the goal that when I got there I was left with the feeling of "now what?" Maybe you can relate?

I asked myself, "do I just work to climb up the hill all over again? and for what?" Inevitably I went into a deep depression. Now looking back and giving it some analysis as to why that happened I discovered a couple things.

First, I learned that my focus was only on the end result. I didn’t appreciate the doing, connecting and learning along the way. Also as I got closer to achieving my goal I failed to set another, bigger goal, after. I was left with the idea of just repeating rather than continuing to grow and build.

Second reason was, working on this goal, wasn’t really important to me. I was doing it for all the wrong reasons.

Remember even though you have a vision it doesn’t mean it’s something YOU should pursue. Don't forget the reasons we have the thoughts we have, is due to past conditioning. That's why all five parts before this post of exploring and getting new references, as well as taking time to discover what is really important to YOU, etc...are so key!

Since I've gotten on a path that truly aligns with who I am and what I want, not what someone else wants for me or convinces me is good, I have had greater success and less stress. I have also started to enjoy the whole process not just the end result; therefore, no matter what I accomplish I always feel fulfilled not empty or wanting.

So manifesting the life you desire is all about being “Totally” clear on what you “Really” desire AND enjoy every part, not also the journey but “Especially” the journey! Sure there will be things you're not crazy about. Career wise for example you may not love training, red-tape and hold ups, paper-work and so on, but the rest of the journey will be so much fun you won't be stopped by any of that (in fact at some point you might hire some one else to deal with that stuff).

If in Manifesting the Life You Desire your working on finding a mate; you need to be clear on who you're looking for but also clear on who you need to be to attract and retain that person in your life.

Next part to achieving what you desire is being open to receiving it. That may sound crazy but so many people don’t:

1. Make room in their lives for anything new. If your home is cluttered, mind is cluttered, life is cluttered the Universe has no way to give you more. Also you may still be holding on to anger or resentment of a past business or personal relationship. LET IT GO! Make room and make a declaration to the universe and God, literally, declaring out loud that you are open and ready to receive. Write it down and repeat it daily.

2. Believe they deserve it. We covered this a bit in Belief and Feeling part 3 of this series but it’s a very important point. You are deserving of all the good the Universe has to offer. Let go of any past guilt for whatever mistakes you made, start fresh. Forgive yourself and forgive others.

In living the life you desire there is no room for stagnate energy!

And finally Maintenance!! There is achieving and then there is managing what you get! They are two totally different skills. There is the classic example of the poor lottery winner who hit’s the jackpot and one year later they are back to broke.

Jim Rohn said getting rich is not about the money
but about the person you have to become to get there.

Here is another example; if you work hard to build a great, healthy physical body in order to enter and win a fitness competition and then once you get that trophy you start binging on fast food and you stop exercising what is sure to occur?

Darren Hardy wrote a great post not long ago about the one true key to success. The one thing that could virtually guarantee the achieving of any goal if applied and the one thing most fail to implement … CONSISTENCY!!!

This is why true success and achievement, is at present, reserved for the few and not the many. But you can decide now and at anytime to turn this around and join the top 5% of Achievers in the world. To maintain any achieved desire or move to the next one you must simply continue to perform the activities that got you there. Maintain the same frame of mind or better; maintain the behaviors or improve the behaviors that got you there!

So here we are at the end of this great six part series and you may have noticed manifesting the life you desire, as I mentioned in the very beginning is not Magic BUT its still Magical! You can do it!

What may seem so difficult now (hopefully less so after reading these posts) is completely attainable at any time you choose to implement these steps. You really do hold the key and its never too late to start "Manifesting the Life You Desire!"

Remember this is my last post here and in less two full weeks the new site will be live and loaded! I look forward to continuing to serve you and help you,

"Live Happier, Healthier and Wealthier Lives; Live Empowered."

Correct & Adjust: The Universe May Know a Better Way

Welcome to part five in the six part series, Manifesting the Life You Desire. In this post we will discuss "Correction & Adjustment". No doubt there will be challenges. In addition you may need to stay open to detours or divine guidance along the way.

As a reminder each of the posts in this series offers great value on it's own but...

To get caught up in this series check out past posts:
Part 1 Vision
Part 2 Intention & Attention
Part 3 Belief & Feeling
Part 4 Joyous Action

AS ALWAYS FEEL FREE TO COMMENT AND SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS, OPINIONS AND IDEAS. WHETHER YOU AGREE, DISAGREE OR FEEL I MISSED SOMETHING LET ME KNOW. ALL VIEWS ARE WELCOME.

Correction and Adjustment - you have the vision, you set your intention, put your attention and energy towards what you want, you believe you can have what you desire, you are putting forth the effort to maintain a positive attitude and feel good; finally you have started taking joyous action and bamm... you're done right? Wrong!

Many people don't realize that manifestation and any real success in life, takes practice. Even more so it takes failure. As T. Harv Eker, author of the best selling book "Secrets of a Millionaire Mind" and founder of Peak Potentials says, "Every Master was once a Disaster." Yes failing is a part of succeeding. Failing is learning, it's growing, it helps to toughen the skin and give you the experience needed to reach your goal or find your purpose. You will hear me say this many times over,
"our challenges and obstacles in life are in fact our greatest gifts in life."

Hindsight is 20/20 and looking back I have never had a challenge where the result after coming out the other side didn't offer a new relationship, a problem for me to solve where after doing so generated more money or a skill or lesson that helped me grow as an entrepreneur.

In addition, like anything worth while in life, the Law of Attraction will take practice to master. This is a Law worth studying and mastering but it's not a magic pill.

Really what you're doing with the Law of Attraction is training your mind to create the life you want. It's like a workout routine to build a your mind-muscle. The more you train and practice the stronger it gets. Over time you will see that you will be able to manifest things faster and faster. I know for me what used to take me years, months or weeks can sometimes take days now. The more connected I am in the process, the higher my energy and belief, the clearer my vision, the faster the result. This goes for attracting anything, opportunities, money, relationships etc...

It's just important for you to remember three key things:

One - Practice. Always come back to this process over and over. These six steps to manifest the life you desire. Know that it takes action and sometimes you wont make the right decision. Sometimes you will lose faith in the process, you may get distracted and your attention or focus may shift. The action you take may not be joyous or in the direction of your vision. So what do you do when that happens?

1. Go back to your vision board or written plan and re-connect.
2. Exercise, read something positive, inspiring or motivating, listen to some uplifting music and basically put yourself back into the right frame of mind.
3. Meditate and quite the mind.
4. Take one step, one simple joyous act towards your dream no matter how minor.
5. "Act as if" Remember as discussed in my last post act as if the vision was already yours, because it is!

Two - Remember it's not magic (but it is mystical, powerful and a process of divine nature) Here is an analogy I like to use: You can succeed with out using (or consciously using) the Law of Attraction but doing so is like framing an entire house with a manual hammer; instead if you use a nail gun the result may be the same but you get there more efficiently with less exertion. It's the same if you use the Law Attraction consciously. But just because you use the Law it doesn't mean you can buy the wood and nails and then sit in your truck while the house constructs itself. This whole process is a tool and once mastered it can be the most important tool you will ever have to create anything in life. Note: above I said Consciously because the Law is constant and always working for or against you whether you know it or not.

Three - Stay flexible. You may have a vision in mind and know how you're going to get there but the Universe and God may know a better way or have a bigger mission for you. It is important to stay open to the signs and people that me your way. If you're vision is to narrow or your mind is closed and you're thinking "this is the way it's got to be" or you are set on something happening a certain way, you may end making things harder on yourself. I know this can be difficult for people. It was hard for me to learn. The idea of being "Flexible" does not come easy to me because I am a bit of a control freak. This is a good place to exercise faith. Remember you must be committed and focused but open;
there can be many paths to the top of the mountain.
Here is an example that may help. I have been in the insurance and financial industry for 10 years. I Built my own financial planning practice and have help many people with their financial needs but the suggestions I made and products I sold to clients were not the only way for them to reach their goals. Now, I am confident that what I recommended given my expertise and experience was the "Best" option for the clients needs, concerns, goals and resources but could that client have decided to work with someone else and still have reached their goals? Could they have worked with an advisor who had a different philosophy or access to different products but got them to essentially the same end result? Yes.

You may know what you want and think you know the best way to get it but God is limitless. Where you may see only a couple possibilities the boundless universe may show you a way you would have never consider; a better way, maybe an easier way. Actually the path may even seem "harder" but along that path you may learn something or meet someone that changes your life for the better forever; making the end result all the more sweet!

The road to success is never a straight and clear path; there are detours and falling rocks to look out for. For most people it takes much practice and correction to master the Law of Attraction and manifest the life they desire. I say most because occasionally there are those who just "Get It". They believe, they implement, they make slight corrections but with ease and they succeed using the Law as their guide and never look back. But for most (including myself) that is not the case and so it is important to know it will take time and to be gentle on yourself in the beginning; get good using these principles.

And here we are, almost at the finish line. One last post in the series. I hope you have enjoyed reading these as much as I have enjoyed writing them. Join me next week for the conclusion of "Manifesting the Life You Desire."

Joyous Action Part 4 of Manifesting the Life You Desire

Here We Are, part four in the six part series, Manifesting the Life You Desire. In this post we will discuss "Joyous Action"; what it means and its relavence to the Law of Attraction. I will also give you some tips on how to do everything as joyous action and hopefully you'll never have to "Work" again.

For me this is a joyous act being here to serve you and I hope you have enjoyed the series thus far.

To get caught up check out past posts:
Part 1 Vision
Part 2 Intention & Attention
Part 3 Belief & Feeling

AS ALWAYS FEEL FREE TO COMMENT AND SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS, OPINIONS AND IDEAS. WHETHER YOU AGREE, DISAGREE OR FEEL I MISSED SOMETHING LET ME KNOW. ALL VIEWS ARE WELCOME.

Work. To me, that is a dirty 4 letter word but "Joyous Action" is more like a bowl of ice cream with whip cream, hot fudge and Two cherries!

”To find joy in work is to discover the fountain of youth.” --Pearl S. Buck
Billions of people wake each day and go to "work" but to few are following their passions and/or taking joyous action.

Even though this is series about manifesting the life you desire you cannot live in the future. You must start where you are today. Start today, doing everything with a joyous heart, its the only way to truly live! No matter what you do, do it with energy and enthusiasm. If what you do now for work is not your Dream job or ideal career, no one should ever know it!

I am of the opinion doing your current work to the best of your ability and striving to be the best will accomplish many things. One, it puts you in state of feeling good and you know how important that is to manifesting the life you desire if you read my last post.

Two, working hard, with joy and a positive attitude will help to boost your confidence increasing the level of belief you have in yourself. (also discussed in the last post) It will also get you working at the level you will need to be successful in any future ventures.

Third, and it's a Big One... "doing everything with a joyous heart, giving 100% right where you are today, will make you deserving of more! And that is the key; for we are rewarded by God, the universe and others based on how deserving we are, not how needy we are!"

You may be saying, "but I hate my job" or "the people in my office drive me nuts, so why would I ...and how can I work with joy and a positive attitude?" Great question, here are a couple of tips as to how to love the work you are currently dissatisfied with.

Tip one, "Act as if". Let me say (with a kind and gentle slap upside your head) this is not a, "what came first chicken or the egg" scenario. If you truly want to your Dream job or to be working in your Dream career, to find and follow your passion, start a business, etc... you must First, "act as if"! You don't magically get the job you want or the opportunity you're dreaming of and THEN be happy, improve your attitude, be grateful etc...

You probably have heard this before but to "act as if" means to behave in manner of expectancy, to act as though you are already in that role. Think to yourself, "who would I have to become now to live the life I imagine?" Would the person doing what you now only dream to do have your current frame of mind, your current level of energy or enthusiasm in life? Would they behave with the lack of joy you do at work? No, almost certainly they would not. I promise you getting where you want to go will happen with much easier by "acting as if" you were already there.
"When people go to work, they shouldn't have to leave their hearts at home.”
--Betty Bender

Ok, so how do you learn to love what you do now, until you get where you desire to be? You Act As If...

Seriously it's amazing how working with the end in mind keeping your dream close, keeping your Attention on your dream as discussed in part 2 of this series, will put you in a brand new state of mind. Do this while living in the now and performing your current task or job. You will notice the work will get lighter, your energy will increase and people around you will treat you differently.

Tip two is to live with an Attitude of Gratitude! When I learned the power of this I started appreciating everyting in my life which, in turn made me aware of how fortunate I was to have a job I didn't like. Instead of being unhappy that I wasn't in my ideal Dream job I gave thanks that my bills were paid and that I had work when so many are jobless. With this new attitude of gratitude I kept searching in my free time for ways to live my passion and built a plan to get there but in the meantime I gave thanks for what I already had. Never lose perspective. When you think you have it rough or find yourself being ungrateful think of the many that have it worse. Then come back to your chair, your life, write down 5 things you have to be grateful for, say thank you, put a smile on your face and take "Joyous Action".

Tip three is to start doing more of what you love today! If you had all the time and money in the world what would you do? Well you don't have to wait. People think they have to wait to live the life they desire but you can take Joyous action immediately!

Here is an an example. You leave work, a job your not thrilled with but one you're enjoying more thanks to tips 1 and 2. You have always dreamed of traveling to Italy. Before, you thought it was too exspensive, you didn't have the time and you thought if you couldn't do it right or right now, why bother. Also, you figured it would happen "Some Day". Take joyous action now! Cut out pictures of where you want to visit in Italy. If you're a AAA auto member you can get free maps and guides at your local AAA center. Search online to find out the best airfares and times to visit. Write out how long you would like to go for and what you would do while there and start a Money for Italy jar. Maybe you only put in five dollars a week but START! And each night before bed take 5 minutes to look at your photos and then close your eyes and see yourslef on that trip; that is taking "joyous action". You can do this with the new career you want to start or learning to play the guitar, anything. Just take little steps towards your goal.

"Real success is finding your lifework in the work that you love." --David
McCullough
People have said to me, "Dallas all that sounds great and I would love to follow my heart and make my passion my career but I'm stuck". Or they say they feel stuck. I cannot stress enough, "You Are NEVER Stuck!"

I understand that if you have children to feed and bills to pay that you may feel as though your feet are in quick drying cement when it comes to living the life you desire. You may think if you did try and live the life you desire that you would struggle and your family would starve but that is why this process is so powerful!

Enjoy what you do now. Perform your current work with Joy and Gratitude. But make time to Dream and find your ultimate vision. Write it down, paint it, create a vision board or go to visionboard.com, the link is above and its free. Understand what you desire is already yours through the power of intention. Keep your Attention on your vision often, constently review, research and plan. Believe you can have it and that you deserve it! Take "Joyous Action" on a regular basis. Whatever small steps you can do now to keep in that state of expectancy; Act As If!

These steps will bring you closer to your desired life but it will also draw your dream closer to you! The greatest part is these are all things you can do now, right now! Go on, what are you waiting for?

Please feel free share Your thoughts. Did I miss anything? How might this help you or others?

Thank you for visiting.

Belief & Feeling

Welcome to the exciting continuation of "Manifesting the Life You Desire". The importance Belief & Feeling have on manifesting what you desire. Part three in a six part series.

To get caught up check out past posts:
Part 1 Vision
Part 2 Intention & Attention

ENJOY AND FEEL FREE TO COMMENT AND SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS, OPINIONS AND IDEAS. WHETHER YOU AGREE, DISAGREE OR FEEL I MISSED SOMETHING LET ME KNOW. ALL VIEWS ARE WELCOME.

"Whether you believe you can or you believe you can not, you are right." ~ Henry Ford

Your Beliefs are the very fabric, not of who you are, but rather who you think you are and that is very powerful! Your beliefs shape how you feel about yourself and others. Your beliefs will either raise your life to a higher standard or keep you as low as you choose to be. In fact your belief is all that exists,

"no man can make you king if you believe yourself to be a pauper and no one can
hold you to being a pauper if you believe yourself to be a King."

In the realm of manifesting the life you want, so often people have a desire that leads to a Vision, which, they put their Attention on for a little while, but thanks to their limiting beliefs about what they deserve or are capable of, what they truly desire is never realized.

If you are not living the life you desire your beliefs may need an upgrade. Because what we believe has such profound affect on the way we see ourselves, it also affects the actions we will take or dreams we will allow ourselves to pursue, and therefore it affects what we do or do not accomplish in our lives. The problem is most of our beliefs are deep rooted and we don't give them much thought as to why we believe what we do OR...how it affects our lives.

If we don't recognize & understand our beliefs or the impact they have on us then how do we know what to change or how to change it? We will be destined to live false lives based on false understandings!

Change Your Beliefs

If you wanted to change what you believe you might start first by questioning what you believe.

Give some thought to how smart you think you are? How strong you believe you are emotionally? Do you consider yourself a success or failure in life? Is making money easy or hard? How do you feel about money; is money something that can be used to make the world around you better or is it the root of all evil? Is dreaming a foolish activity and a waste of time OR a great way to spend an hour and fuel the visions and passions you have for your life?

One exercise you can do to discover the beliefs you have is to recognize and preferably write down, in the course of a week, all the thoughts you have that are proceeded by one these statements:

  • If only...
  • I believe...
  • Yea but...

usually these statements indicate a belief such as, "yea but...I would be making more money if things weren't so tough in the economy" or "If only...I was skinnier it would be easier to find good relationship"

Also be on the look-out for statements or cliches' you often use like:

  • "True love is hard to find"
  • "The Rich get richer while the poor get poorer"
  • "Money doesn't grow on trees"
  • "It takes too much time (or money) to start a busniess"
  • "There isn't enough hours in the day"

Some majors areas to contemplate what you believe are:

  • How are you in your relationships as a spouse, parent, sibling or friend?
  • How are you in the work place as an employee or boss?
  • How are you with making and managing money?
  • How are you in the area of fitness and taking care of your health?

Rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being poor and 5 the high score.

After you have determined your level of success or confidence in these areas ask yourself why you scored a 1 through 5. What do you believe about a particular area that makes you a 1 or 5?

The next part is to ask yourself why you believe the things you do. For example if you want to buy a rental property but you have a belief that real-estate investing is scary, ask yourself, "why do I think this?" Did your parents have a bad experience investing in real-estate where many nights at the kitchen table you heard about how hard and risky it is?

After you determine where the belief might have come from, ask yourself if the source is valid. Personally I Love my parents very much but I would never ask them for investment advice! If your parents aren't successful in real-estate does it makes sense to continue on with that belief or to create a newer more supportive one?

As I am sure you have heard before you want to discover if your beliefs are empowering or dis-empowering? Ask yourself how has this belief made your life better or worse? What has it cost you and what are you giving up if you continue this belief? The big question is...are you willing to pay that price just to keep yourself where you are? Actually it's worse, because we never really stay where we are, we progress or digress.

Keep in mind, it's one thing to have a dream but you'll never be the person you need be or have the vibrational energy you need, to attract your goal to you, if don't replace the old belief with a new one. You must believe you can succeed.

"You must believe better to become more. At that point you will move from believing to Knowing!"

So once you have determine that a belief is not serving you the final part is to replace it. For example if your belief is, investing in real-estate is difficult and risky, write "Investing in real-estate is easy and profitable" to replace it.

Do this for each of your limiting or dis-empowering beliefs and create a new mantra, then repeat one new belief each week as explained in the exercise below until you have a series of new Empowering beliefs in the areas where you wish to grow.

Create a new belief like the real-estate example above. Post your new belief where it can be seen often and read it out loud in this fashion: with your hand on your chest over your heart, in the mirror, looking yourself in the eye. Read the statement 5 times in the morning when you wake, 5 times in the afternoon and 5 times at night before bed. Do this for seven days.

This will help ingrain the belief in you because you will feel the vibration in your chest as you speak the words! You will Hear the new thought repeatedly in your ears and you will see yourself say it and (over time) see the transformation in your eyes as the belief changes. At first it may feel weird and you may have trouble saying it but by the weeks end you will be grinning in the mirror with confidence as you speak your new belief.

Side note: A difficult truth may be, if you think this is silly and you aren't willing to give something so easy a try what else are you willing "to Not Do" to accomplish your dreams? The answer is anything, your not really willing to do anything.

Feeling...GOOD

Feeling good is so fun why would you choose to feel any other way? Yup I said choose; it's a choice.

I could have created an entirely separate post in regards to the importance of feeling good and manifesting the life you desire but I believe that Belief & Feeling go hand in hand, so I chose to keep it relatively short; if you feel good you live good. When you feel good you become a magnet for your dreams.
The reason I said above, feeling good is a choice, is because beyond the chemical effect going on in your brain, how you feel has everything to do with your attitude and perspective.

For example I believe so strongly that our challenges in life (everyone of them with no exception) are Gifts, so whenever I am confronted with a challenge or obstacle I say thank you! I immediately look for the solution or opportunity to learn & grow and even though it may get tough and nothing is perfect, I remain in good spirits and in a positive frame of mind. This also goes when I have a flu or an illness I remain positive and feel good, and when I am under career pressure I feel good; I choose to always feel good.

When you feel good your vibrational energy (which we discussed a little in part 1 on vision) will be higher and that will in turn, more easily attract good things and good people into your life.

Let's think of this from a very simple stand point. If you knew of someone who was always negative, often complaining, stressed out and frequently in a bad mood, how much time would you want to spend with that person?

The universe is the same way being drawn either to or away from you, depending on your attitude, how you feel and therefore the energy you emit.

The trick becomes shifting your perspective. "When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change" ~Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

You are more likely to maintain a positive attitude if you can keep a positive perspective on your life even when things are tough. Improving your perspective may take time. Improving your perspective may also take working on your beliefs. I didn't always look at my challenges as gifts, it took time and some work to get there. In addition to shifting your perspective for making mood changes quick in the short term it is a good idea to have a list of actions you can take to improve your mood immediately.

Here is a short list of things I like to do to improve my mood and feel good whenever I need help doing so:

  • Exercise = endorphins those always help to improve your mood.
  • Spend time with Pets.
  • Listen to upbeat music.
  • Write a list of things I am grateful for. (this will also do wonders on your perspective)
  • Watch a comedy.
  • Call a friend that can lift your spirits.

Side note: I will not cover this here because it is a whole post in itself but it is so important it had to be mentioned. Your diet and how you eat has a "Profound" affect on how you feel. So many people do not know how to eat properly and many think they do but are poorly informed. Be a master of nutrition and it will help you to feel good.

The quicker you can get back in a good mood, the longer you keep feeling good and maintain a positive attitude, the better. Remember be a magnet for your dream. Your dream, Successful people that you will need to attract to get there or that you'll associate with once there and the Universe, are all attracted to higher vibrational energy!

Believe in you, believe in your dream and feel good; you will be that much closer to manifesting the life you desire.

Ok, so...so far in this series we have discussed Vision and the idea that Vision is energy just like "Everything" else in the world. Vision is the seed to your desire. Your Intention is the path already created to reach your desire, it's Divine and comes from "Source" so it is a matter of cleaning the connection to your dream and clearing a path. Attention is the focus or water your vision needs to grow. Belief is important because it is easy to fritter away a vision you have or fall short on a goal when you don't actually believe it's possible and Feeling good is a major key to having the attitude it takes and being the person you need to be, to attract your vision to you.

In part 4 we will cover...

Joyous Action

Intention & Attention

Welcome to part two in a six part series of "Manifesting the Life You Desire". If you are just joining us and have not read part 1 having a Vision please do so. The following post will still be very helpful but might have better context if you read the previous; that will be the case with each part in this series.

ENJOY AND FEEL FREE TO COMMENT AND SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS, OPINIONS AND IDEAS. WHETHER YOU AGREE, DISAGREE OR FEEL I MISSED SOMETHING LET ME KNOW. ALL VIEWS ARE WELCOME.

Intention & Attention

The power to manifest the life you desire is not only in having the “Vision” but how long can you hold the vision in both your conscious and subconscious mind. As I mentioned in Part one of this series the vision is the seed to what you desire. In that same analogy if you were planting and growing a crop the Attention on your vision is the water, it nourishes your desire. Your "Intention" would be the Sun...its the source.

The longer you hold the vision or keep your attention on the vision the more you bring it into your reality; it surfaces from the unconscious to conscious mind and the longer it stays there the better.

Along with your attention is “Intention”. Intention here is separate from the idea of intending and creating it by you alone. The key thing about intention is it comes from Source, from the infinite, from the Creator. But remember in part one Everything is Energy and so Everything derives from Source, therefore you are already connected to whatever it is you desire for your life.

In this principle of intention it is not about “Making” something happen, it’s about “Allowing” something to happen. In life you are not connecting with what you envision, because it’s already yours; you are “RE-CONNECTING” with your vision.

I’ll say it again you simply need to “RE-CONNECT” with what you desire. The more clarity you bring to your vision or desire and the longer you hold your attention on it, the faster it is realized. Dr. Wayne Dyer describes it as a link or wire that connects you to what you want and what is necessary is for the link to be cleaned. We have corroded it with fear, lack of belief or allowing doubt and negativity to muddy the connection etc… But when we can clean that link of past conditioning and advance forward with confidence holding strongly to our vision; it will be so.

Wayne Dyer has a book and PBS special titled the Power of Intention. I can not do this topic the justice it deserves without his help. This special moved me profoundly and changed my life forever. I have embedded the first hour of that special right here. The second half is available on Google at the link below. I will say this; the first 5 minutes will make you smile and say, “Wow”. After 30mins you will say “Holy Shit” and you will love what you are hearing and after two hours you won’t be the same.

How do you strengthen your Intention and connection to source?

Ask yourself often what do I really want? When the answer comes back and it makes you feel “GOOD”, you’ll know you are on the right track(more about the importance of belief and feeling good in part 3). Bring yourself back to what you intend for your life often. Keep your attention on what is good and what you are grateful for. Become more alert to where your attention is throughout each day. If you intend to make more money and live healthier, BUT your Attention is on how stressed out you are, how poorly you ate yesterday or how hurt, broke you are etc… you’re not focused on what you wish to attract. Those thoughts cannot occupy the same space

you are either thinking of and working towards what you want OR you are
drifting from it,
and keeping yourself from it. Remember keep the connection clean; “RE-CONNECT” to your vision because it is already yours. Live in positive expectation!

Keep in mind anyone can think of a goal, picture an image once, but how long they hold their Attention on that Intention determines their belief that it’s possible to obtain drawing that goal or item into their lives that much faster.

One of the best ways to do this; to RECONNECT is through meditation. Do it daily!
